MR-03 Evo AAA 3500 Beginner

Looking to get started with AAA 3500 racing? Then check out this MR-03 Evo AAA 3500 Beginner build. AAA 3500 allows for any AAA chassis with a 3500 kv brushless motor. You can run sensored motors, but the sensored MR-04 Evo board is not allowed for PNWC and other AAA 3500 classes. Therefore, we recommend the Kyosho MR-03 Evo board or any other brushless sensorless main boards.

We recommend starting with a Kyosho MR-03 Evo and swapping the included motor out with any 3500 kv motor of your choosing. I suggest the PN Racing V4 Sensorless Brushless motor, as that works for both PNWC rules and 28sra rules, meaning you won’t have to swap the motor out depending on which ruleset you race in. The MR-03 Evo kit needs a receiver, so find an Evo receiver that works with your radio of choosing. Flysky makes a really good radio and receiver setup for Mini-Z.

Finally, add wheels, tires, T-plates, body, and a transponder to complete your AAA 3500 car. This build is great for those looking to get started in AAA 3500 without building an entirely custom car.
